Suzie Q has built a solid reputation for herself as one of the leading ladies in the Reggae Music industry. Over the past 16 years, Suzie Q has gained experience from working both in front and behind the scenes. Jamaican born Suzie Q started out as a radio DJ on the Island’s premier Reggae Radio Station, Irie FM, where she hosted a show called the “JAM” every Saturday 2 PM – 7 PM which held the number one position for that time slot, while working weekdays as Irie Fm's Chief Accountant. Between 1993 and 1995 Suzie spent most of her time traveling the world as one of the most sought after female DJ (selector), after clashing with the likes of Sky Juice (Metro Media) , Panther (Black Cat), Johnny (Body Guard) to name a few with the unassuming beauty Suzie Q always coming out on top becoming a household name all over the Caribbean, Europe and the United States. Jamaicas first female dancehall selector can truly be defined as an Icon who is highly respected by her peers.

Authentically Caribbean, Truly Jamaican, 100% Reggae, Suzie is continuing her journey to become one of the innovative leaders in the Reggae Music industry by working with and creating television programs that are geared to inform the world about the richness of the Reggae and Caribbean Culture. In 1999 she produced a television show, Reggae Trail TV, which took the viewing audience backstage at the hottest concerts, festivals, and showcases. It brought the most current happenings in the industry as they were occurring via cable. The Reggae Trail Talent Search was also the first Jamaican made for television weekly talent show aired in Jamaica. Reggae Trail TV had its start on Wami TV in South Florida and then on CVM in Jamaica. In 2001 the show was brought over to Television Jamaica (TVJ), Caribbean International Network (CIN) in New York and Channel 7 in St. Croix, VI.Television Jamaica ( TVJ ) remained the show’s home until May of 2003 when Suzie Q decided to focus her attention on Video Alley Reggae Top Ten, which was experiencing a more rapid growth in popularity. Since its launch in October 2001, Video Alley Reggae Top Ten has dominated independent Caribbean television programming.With the international popularity of Video Alley Reggae Top Ten the sky is the limit for the mother of two Suzie Q.

Suzie also created a 24 hour Reggae television station which can be seen on some of the top cable networks in Jamaica, covering Kingston & St Andrew, Mandeville,Ocho Rios, Santa Cruz, & May Pen. Fiwi TV is 80 % reggae music videos , it aims at giving artist and record producers an opportunity to be seen & heard.
